Jordan Lake!
Had a great time birding with Becky Desjardins at Jordan Lake this morning, with quite a few good birds. Although the goal of the trip was for shorebirds, the water was high and the only ones seen were 3 Killdeer, one Solitary, and 4 Lesser Yellowlegs. Great Egrets were present in large numbers as well. Migrants were much more active, and we had Prairie, Common Yellowthroat, Redstart, Black-and White, Parula, Yellow-throated Vireo, and the highlight, Blackpoll.
